Our story

JD Content Studios really started from my own experience as a content creator.

Working with different brands often meant needing a great studio, but the right spaces were usually a long drive away in other cities. After doing that enough times, I started thinking, surely we can create something like this closer to home.

The beginning

So we found a completely blank space in Nottingham and spent the next three months bringing the idea to life.

Building it

I was hands-on with the whole process, from the limewash walls and arches to the fittings, furniture and equipment. We wanted it to feel beautiful, versatile and practical, while still offering really good value for creators.

Today

We finally opened in October 2025, and seeing the space go from an empty shell to what it is today has been such a wild, fun and rewarding journey.

Now we get to share it with other creators, photographers and brands — which makes it even more special.
